Can you describe the importance of two key factors to Solole development: technology… and customer service
Technology is precisely one of the foundations of Solole‘s growth. Thanks to our technological partner Iboosy we have managed to have a very good quality API with functionalities that other platforms do not have. The support that TravelgateX gives us is also appreciated. Regarding customer service, as Solole is a company that has been in the sector for more than 14 years, we have achieved very high-quality standards in relation to customers.
How long has Solole been a partner of TravelgateX? What did you know of us beforehand?
We have known TravelgateX for many years, practically since its inception. We started working with them through our previous platform, but we could not get the full potential we wanted due to the restrictions that said platform put us. It is since February 2018 when we have really made the most of our integration with TG, once we started working with Iboosy.
What led you to move to TravelgateX? What are the main factors that influenced your decision?
TravelgateX as a Solole partner through Iboosy has given us the flexibility to quickly connect with suppliers and customers. This, added to its Know-How and Networking between the different companies are in my opinion TravelgateX’s main value.
How easy was it to integrate the TravelgateX API – and how long did it take?
Integration with TravelgateX is very similar to the integration with any other hotel provider. It’s easy and can take about a month.
What are the benefits of using the TravelgateX API?
The main thing about working with the TravelgateX API was the connection capacity that the marketplace created by them has, with the number of clients and providers that we hope will make us grow as an accommodation provider after so many years in the market.
How does working with TravelgateX and using the TravelgateX API helps you to achieve your business goals?
We have been in the Spanish and Portuguese market for 14 years and after our distribution throughout these years. TravelgateX gives us another way to start marketing all our product, also in the current situation we see TravelgateX as a basic partner to continue growing.
You partner with many other tech companies. What makes TravelgateX different?
The simplicity and speed of being able to start business relationships through TravelgateX, and very importantly, TravelgateX does not fall within the relationships between tourism providers, they are only technology and this aspect is very important because unlike other places in the market TravelgateX does not enter into our business.
What’s the most interesting or useful thing to come out of a TravelgateX meeting? In what ways have these sessions made a difference to your relationship with TravelgateX?
Meetings with TravelgateX are an always enriching experience for us, we all learn from it and join us to continue growing and even more in these complex moments for our sector.
